Now included with your stay at Iluminar is a membership to the iconic, Gilded Iguana Surf Club. The membership gives a person access to our surf club facilities where you’ll enjoy exclusive events, games, and fresh towels and clean showering facilities. Enjoy free board rental from an epic quiver for all styles from beginner to expert. Swap out as much as you’d like until you find your dream board! For an additional price, surf lessons and advanced surf coaching are also available (see pricing below) from friendly, entertaining instructors who have grown up surfing these waves.

Located outside our backdoor, the beach club is reminiscent of the original Waikiki Surf Club in Peru. It’s a place to gear up for your surf session, wind down after with a juice or chill between sessions. Family friendly hangout with ping pong , foosball and more, including gear and games for the beach. Surf Lessons are an additional price and not part of the Free Membership.
